Eyebrow Aftercare

The results achieved during your procedure generally last from 12-18 months. However, as with many procedures of this type, there are several factors that will prolong, or reduce, the expected durability.

Aftercare is CRUCIAL!!!

Please follow these instructions for up to 14 days following the procedure to improve and prolong the results.

  • Day 1 – wipe (do not rub) brows with a damp baby wipe 1 hour after the procedure and apply balm. Wipes must be in water ONLY! Repeat every hour until bedtime. If wipes seem dry, pour bottled water on them. No tap water.
  • Next 5 Days – wipe (do not rub) brows with a baby wipe and apply balm 5 times per day.
  • If scabbing occurs, discontinue use of baby wipes.  Use only the balm 3-4 times daily to keep them moisturized.
  • AVOID WETTING YOUR BROWS!!!
  • Make sure your hands are clean when applying balm.
  • Do not touch your brows while they are healing.
  • Change your pillow case to avoid chance of infection.
  • No makeup should be applied directly to the brow area during the healing process.
  • Avoid using daily skin care products on the treated area.
  • Avoid sauna/steam rooms and sun beds.
  • You may find that your brows will scab or become slightly dry. Do not touch, rub, pick or scratch the treated area. The wiping and balm should prevent this. If your brows seem dry, add a bit more balm.
  • Should brows become wet following treatment, pat them dry with a clean towel. DO NOT RUB!
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure as this will cause the pigments to fade and increase chance of irritation.
  • If you must undergo an MRI, be sure to inform your physician/technician that you have had a Microblading procedure done.
  • If you are planning on undergoing a chemical peel, or any other medical treatment please inform your physician/technician that you have had a Microblading procedure done.
  • If you decide to donate blood, be sure to inform the nurse/technician that you have had a Microblading procedure done.
  • The best way to protect the pigment from fading is to limit the products you put onto your brows and protect them from the sun at all times. You may use sunscreen chap stick on them or wear a hat while outdoors.
